A key figure in the Fast & Furious franchise, Walker’s absence was deeply felt by fans and colleagues. Filmmakers employed CGI, body doubles, and Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, to complete his remaining scenes, giving his character a poignant farewell.

4. Brandon Lee – The Crow (1994)

The son of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, Brandon Lee tragically died during the filming of The Crow in 1993. A prop gun malfunction led to a fatal shooting accident. Despite the devastating loss, the film was completed using stunt doubles and special effects, ultimately becoming a cult classic.

5. Philip Seymour Hoffman – The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015)

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s accidental overdose in 2014 occurred while he was filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. Having already completed the majority of his scenes, the production team used digital effects and script alterations to manage his character’s absence respectfully.

6. Marilyn Monroe – Something’s Got to Give (1962)

The iconic Marilyn Monroe’s sudden death in 1962 at the age of 36 shocked the world. At the time, she was filming Something’s Got to Give, a film that was ultimately abandoned due to her untimely passing. Only a few fragments of her footage were ever released, and the circumstances surrounding her death continue to fuel speculation.

7. Steve Irwin – Ocean’s Deadliest (2006)

The beloved “Crocodile Hunter,” Steve Irwin, tragically died in 2006 while filming Ocean’s Deadliest. A stingray’s barb pierced his heart during an underwater shoot. His death deeply saddened fans worldwide, but his legacy of wildlife conservation continues to inspire.
