Posted on January 23, 2024 By armanzafar887@gmail.com

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his regret to fans after a muscular injury forced him to cancel Al-Nassr’s planned China Tour. The Portuguese football star, who was set to face Zheijang and Shanghai Shenhua, conveyed his apologies for disappointing and worrying his supporters.

Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, disclosed that the decision to postpone the friendly games was made due to his inability to participate in front of the dedicated fan base. The injury, affecting his ability to play, prompted the rescheduling of the matches for a later period, as reported by Goal.

There are speculations that Ronaldo, the top goal scorer worldwide in 2023 with Portugal and Al-Nassr, might miss up to two weeks of action. This potential absence could also extend to Inter Miami’s scheduled trip to Saudi Arabia for the Riyadh Cup, where he is expected to reunite with Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo China Tour Cancelled

Reflecting on the unfortunate turn of events in China, Ronaldo stated, “In football, some things are beyond your control. Having played for 22 years with few injuries, I am genuinely saddened because Al-Nassr and I came to China for an enjoyable tour. Since 2003/2004, I’ve considered China my second home and always felt special here.”
